Oh, it's my favourite song! I thought to myself. Naturally, i hit the volume up near maximum and started bopping my head to the beat of the song. The doors of the train opened and I stepped aside to allow other passengers to alight and aboard. In the midst of grooving to the song, I looked up to see if anyone around were observing my weird behaviour mouthing the lyrics silently while making simple hand dance moves as if i were in a club.
Ah who cares... Im enjoying this song, so let me be.
Not until I saw a man a few feet staring straight at me. Confused if it was me he had his eyes fixed on, I turned around to check if there was something else more interesting. Nope, nothing... So it had to be me! I looked up again only to find him standing right in front of me with a playful smile plastered on his face. I couldn't help myself but to let out a giggle and his smile broaden, obviously enjoying my reaction.
For-ever-ever-ever, for-ever-ever-ever... Forever on the dance floor.
He moved forward. I moved backward.
It's a long way down, so high up the ground, sending for an angel to bring me your heart..
hell yeah was I feeling high up the ground. This guy in front of me is mesmerizingly handsome and my head was spinning like I was in a whirlwind. I don’t even know him, although by the way he looks at me it’s as if he does. Should I feel frightened? I realize it was too late to answer that question myself since I felt a cold surface behind me. Shit, he got me leaning on the wall of the train.
His hand reached out and landed next to my head. My heart thumped hard, so hard I swear he could have heard it too. He leaned in close.
He held his other hand out as an invitation to dance. I took it and suddenly he pulled me forward hard, jolting me back to reality. I lurched forward and hit a metal pole. The doors opened again and I realized I was imagining it all in my head.
The song ended then.
